Spider Energy Drink

This week the SPIDER ENERGY DRINK TEAM went to a popular bar and restaurant in Corona, CA to shot some really cool video footage for the website. Citrus city Grill in Corona, CA was the backdrop setting for the new video footage. Owner Steve and his crew were very accommodating and the overall experience was awesome!

The videos that were shot were to update the SPIDER LOUNGE, SPIDER GIRLS AND SPIDER MUSIC tabs on the website. Actress and Model Lindsay who will be seen in upcoming movie blockbuster Iron Man 2 as one of the super sexy dancers, will be featured in the SPIDER LOUNGE section of the website, where she will be seen making some popular cocktails using SPIDER ENERGY DRINK for you adult consumers. In addition, Lindsay will also be featured on the SPIDER GIRLS section of the website, where she will be informing potential new Spider Girls on how they too can become a SPIDER GIRL.

On the SPIDER MUSIC section of the website, we shot two scenes of Monster from the Inland Empire rock band Jugulur. Yes his name is Monster and he drinks SPIDER ENERGY DRINK!

The video is being professionally edited this week and should be posted by March 1st.

To make sure the video shoot went smooth, we commissioned director and star Peter Dills of the TV food show ”Dinning With Dills” on KJLA TV.

The SPIDER ENERGY DRINK TEAM rallied in Northern California for some up and down the street retail action. The most effective way to gain distribution is to conduct mass market crew drives explains the SPIDER ENERGY CREW. We were extremely pleased at the retailer and consumer reaction we received regarding the brand, from the can graphics, taste and the the overall appeal of the brand, including the added B-Vitamins and additional caffeine. We literally had consumers asking “What is Spider, is it an energy drink?” Everyone that tasted the product gave Spider Energy a thumbs up! Nearly 100 new accounts were secured and once the orders are delivered we will post a retail location list for all you Spider fans in the Oakland Bay area.

SPIDER ENERGY DRINK will be rolling down the lanes of Lucky Strike Bowling Lounge to help benefit the Hollywood PAL College Scholarship Program. It’s a fun packed event filled with lots celebrities and tons of excitement! Of course it wouldn’t be an event without one of SPIDER ENERGY’S  own on hand. Our very own Tommy Bolan from the rock band NYC will be attending the event. So if you are there look for Tommy and ask him for an ice cold SPIDER ENERGY DRINK.

WHO: Alan Thicke, Jack McGee, Kevin Dobson, Jennifer Elise Cox, Tony Hale,  and many more Some of the scholarship recipients, members of the PAL program, police officers and their families will also be in attendance.

WHAT: 100 % of the proceeds from the Bowling for Scholarship Dollars event will benefit the Hollywood PAL (Police Activity League) College Scholarship fund.  PAL is a community-based crime prevention program that provides youth, ages 6-17, with positive alternative to gangs and drugs.  Through interaction with police officers in recreational, educational, athletic and fine arts activities, young people are given the opportunity to form healthy, positive attitudes towards police, the society, and the laws they represent. Jeremy Wright is one of SPIDER ENERGY DRINKS endorsed athletes. I recently met with Jeremy to give him some new swag, stickers and of course load him up with a fresh supply of SPIDER ENERGY DRINK. Jeremy tells me that it’s the SPIDER ENERGY DRINK that gets him through his long grueling days.

What makes the days so long for Jeremy? Well for one he has an extremely packed school schedule…While most students take 12 units a semester Jeremy packs in a whopping 9 units a month! On top of all that Jeremy makes time to get in the water, crams in an extensive workout schedule and tops it all off with yoga to stay limber.

2010 Winter NAMM has wrapped up! Once again the folks at NAMM out did themselves. The SPIDER ENERGY DRINK  team and members from our supporting bands JUGULUR, NYC, XNO and the STEVE BURROWS BAND, as well as many newly signed bands were in attendance for an awesome week of rock & roll…Throughout the event, no matter where one went there was someone either wearing a SPIDER ENERGY DRINK  t-shirt or drinking/holding a can of SPIDER ENERGY DRINK, not only at the NAMM Convention, but at many of the after parties as well. By the final day we received countless thank you comments, e-mails and text from attendees telling us that it was the SPIDER ENERGY DRINK that got them through the week. While no energy drink will replace sleep, SPIDER ENERGY DRINK sure helps when in need. 

A sincere thank you to all of our supporting bands, artists and everyone that lended a hand to make this week’s event great!

Energy Drink or Rock Convention? Well we all know that the life of a musician right? Well having been one many years ago I know that the perception is party and play! While it may seem like all fun and games these guys and gals have it really tough. A touring band is always on the go, a different town every night, sometimes on a tour bus, but rarely do they get to see home. And the road crew – long before and after the show these guys and gals have the task of setting it all up and tearing it all down. While nothing replaces a good nights sleep, when you are tired and need that extra little kick or BITE we like to say, Spider energy Drink is here for you! We were able to catch up with some of our friends and also had the opportunity to meet some “legendary” rockers. Below are some pictures we took at Day#1.

Spider Energy Drink will be represented at Winter NAMM in Anaheim, CA this week from Thursday, January 14 through Sunday, January 17, 2010. We planned on having a booth of our own, but the people of NAMM said we were not allowed due to the fact that we are an energy drink and not a manufacture of musical equipment, hardware or gear. So what’s a spider to do? We will supply Spider Energy Drink to all of our endorsed artists for their drinking pleasure. It will be really interesting to see how the NAMM people react to a little gorilla marketing…We know for a fact that some other musical equipment will have other energy drink brands, as well as some teas, juices, etc. So if Spider gets the boot we will raise hell like the rock an rollers we are. All we want is to be able to support our endorsed bands and musicians. Is that too much to ask NAMM?

The SPIDER ENERGY DRINK team went to the AMA SUPERCROSS on Saturday, January 9, 2010 for a bit of gorilla marketing and some fun in the sun. It is amazing how awesome the sport of AMA SUPERCROSS is and how big it has gotten over the years. No doubt this is the core crowd for energy drink consumers and maybe someday soon we too can get a piece of the action. The BIG three energy companies seem to dominate the sport, with the title sponsor being supported by the guy’s with the green “M” logo. The really cool thing for SPIDER ENERGY DRINK in that everywhere we went throughout the event we turnd heads, and the countless number times we heard the words “SPIDER ENERGY” as we walked by people was amazing! There is no doubt that we made a statement at the event. While there we stopped by the Jagermeister party pit to check out the performers. There we had some SPIDER ENERGY DRINK for some people to sample…It was really cool to hear several people say how awesome SPIDER ENERGY DRINK tasted as they pounded one down. After we ran out we had several people ask where they could get more. For us it is really awesome to see, hear and experience the BUZZ being generated about this little thing we call SPIDER ENERGY DRINK. There is an old saying that has been around longer than any energy drink in history and it goes like this ”ALONG CAME A SPIDER” and finally here we are!

Maybe someday!

we too will be able to have our name on the ticket as the title sponsor. Until then we will build our brand one account and one consumer at a time.
