Spider Energy Drink

2010 Winter NAMM has wrapped up! Once again the folks at NAMM out did themselves. The SPIDER ENERGY DRINK  team and members from our supporting bands JUGULUR, NYC, XNO and the STEVE BURROWS BAND, as well as many newly signed bands were in attendance for an awesome week of rock & roll…Throughout the event, no matter where one went there was someone either wearing a SPIDER ENERGY DRINK  t-shirt or drinking/holding a can of SPIDER ENERGY DRINK, not only at the NAMM Convention, but at many of the after parties as well. By the final day we received countless thank you comments, e-mails and text from attendees telling us that it was the SPIDER ENERGY DRINK that got them through the week. While no energy drink will replace sleep, SPIDER ENERGY DRINK sure helps when in need. 

A sincere thank you to all of our supporting bands, artists and everyone that lended a hand to make this week’s event great!

Energy Drink or Rock Convention? Well we all know that the life of a musician right? Well having been one many years ago I know that the perception is party and play! While it may seem like all fun and games these guys and gals have it really tough. A touring band is always on the go, a different town every night, sometimes on a tour bus, but rarely do they get to see home. And the road crew – long before and after the show these guys and gals have the task of setting it all up and tearing it all down. While nothing replaces a good nights sleep, when you are tired and need that extra little kick or BITE we like to say, Spider energy Drink is here for you! We were able to catch up with some of our friends and also had the opportunity to meet some “legendary” rockers. Below are some pictures we took at Day#1.

Tommy Bolan will be tearing it up, playing his signature Cort Guitar at Winter NAMM in Anaheim, CA this week from Thursday, January 14 through Saturday, January 16, 2010. Of course Tommy will pounding down some Spider Energy Drink while at the show and who knows he may even be giving out some cool spider swag. Below are Tommy’s schedule of performances. So if you want to see some smoke and flames stop by one of Tommy’s jamm sessions and ask him for an ice cold Spider Energy Drink.

Spider Energy Drink will be represented at Winter NAMM in Anaheim, CA this week from Thursday, January 14 through Sunday, January 17, 2010. We planned on having a booth of our own, but the people of NAMM said we were not allowed due to the fact that we are an energy drink and not a manufacture of musical equipment, hardware or gear. So what’s a spider to do? We will supply Spider Energy Drink to all of our endorsed artists for their drinking pleasure. It will be really interesting to see how the NAMM people react to a little gorilla marketing…We know for a fact that some other musical equipment will have other energy drink brands, as well as some teas, juices, etc. So if Spider gets the boot we will raise hell like the rock an rollers we are. All we want is to be able to support our endorsed bands and musicians. Is that too much to ask NAMM?

So for those of you attending the event, please look for us wherever you see XNO, Jugulur, NYC, Boomer and Steve Burrows.

Spider Energy Drink wrapped up the 72^nd annual NBWA convention with a bang! The convention and tradeshow was a great success said CEO Pete Algarin. We had several beverage distributors from across the country stop by to try Spider Energy Drink and by unanimous decision our flavor profile came out on top. Nobody said this venture was going to be easy, but we believe that we have a great brand name, aggressive logo and a superior taste that will get us through the clutter and take us where we need to be. Based on the comments and interest we received from the show we are confident we have something that consumers will purchase and embrace. The hard work is ahead of us, but we are prepared to do what it takes to get Spider Energy Drink everywhere. It is our desire to get this great tasting brand into the market where consumers can decide for themselves what they wand and not just have to settle for what’s available.

Spider Energy Exec and the rock band XNO pictured at the 72nd annual NBWA convention and trade show in Las Vegas. Distributors from all across the country attended the event and Spider Energy was no doubt the energy drink with the most character. Not only was Spider Energy Drink a show stopper, but our friends from XNO were approached from many other exhibitors asking for photo ops. The Spider Energy Drink team sampled the most awesome energy drink at the show. Many beverage distributors stop by our booth to check us out and hear the pitch “Why Spider Energy they asked”? It’s real simple; Spider Energy Drink was developed for the consumer, not for us. We listened to what consumers were saying about their likes and dislikes about energy drinks and we incorporated them into Spider Energy. One of the common comments we hear about energy drinks is that they taste like cough medicine, not Spider Energy. With over 200 samples given out yesterday not one person said anything bad, but the majority said, finally a good tasting one…We had a group of young adults (22-28 years old) stop by. All but one of them took a sample, and the one that did not, I asked, why not? She replied with “I like what energy drinks do for me, but I hate the taste”. As her friends all took a drink of their samples and said how good it was, she then took a sip of one of theirs and immediately said, “Okay, I want my own, this is really good and I would drink this”

We are so excited about all the great feedback we received from day #1 and can’t wait for day #2.
