This Saturday, July 31, 2010 the SPIDER ENERGY DRINK team will be sampling and selling, both original SPIDER ENERGY and sugar free LIGHTER SPIDER at the FENDER MUSEUM in Corona, CA.  Both SPIDER ENERGY and The FENDER MUSEUM are companies with warehouses and distribution located in Corona, CA. “we were given this opportunity as a local company to partner with FENDER for the SUMMER MUSIC FEST and are so excited to be part of this great event. As a former musician I chose to market SPIDER ENERGY DRINK by  promoting through local bands and overall through the music scene in general”  The FENDER MUSEUM has been gracious by allowing us to promote SPIDER ENERGY DRINK at this awesome event and has even asked us to get involved in future events. That being said we will work as hard as we can to make sure we develop this relationship and promote their events through our local in-store merchandising and local consumer give-aways.

As an owner of an energy drink company and one who actually drinks his one product daily (unlike some of those other energy drink guys) I tend to get a bit wired each and every day…Naturally, due to my aggressive nature, I enjoy a good rock & roll metal music on a regular basis. So with that being said I regularly head out to local clubs in seek of some butt kicking tunes.

Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy radio play music, but why is it that the radio has to play the same 20 songs over and over and over again? With so much awesome talent in the world and some of the best local bands right here in Southern California, there are so many great options available to experience some killer music.

So on this particular one Saturday evening my good friend “JT” (the front man from the popular Inland Empire band XNO) and I went to a local club in Yucaipa, CA. Jamming this evening was a band from The O.C named OCTANE MOB. Now I’ve seen these guys before and when I did I realized they rocked the house, however the club I saw them at before was very small and the stage and acoustics were not that desirable. Knowing that the stage at this other place is much larger and that the sound system and acoustics are way better that the prior place, I made it a point to check these guys out again. No I’m not a critic by all means, but besides beverages my second passion is music.

So, what did I experience when the MOB hit the stage? Strong aggressive guitar riffs, Super shredding leads, bone chilling bass and drumming as intense as a stomping rhino. All that topped off with a front man lead singer that not only sings, but does so while laying down some killer guitar chords and pretty intense leads.

Octane Mob is one of my top pics for local talent and I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a band that plays rock & roll metal music as intense as the great taste and energizing effect as Spider Energy Drink.

SPIDER ENERGY DRINK will be rolling down the lanes of Lucky Strike Bowling Lounge to help benefit the Hollywood PAL College Scholarship Program. It’s a fun packed event filled with lots celebrities and tons of excitement! Of course it wouldn’t be an event without one of SPIDER ENERGY’S  own on hand. Our very own Tommy Bolan from the rock band NYC will be attending the event. So if you are there look for Tommy and ask him for an ice cold SPIDER ENERGY DRINK.

WHAT: 100 % of the proceeds from the Bowling for Scholarship Dollars event will benefit the Hollywood PAL (Police Activity League) College Scholarship fund.  PAL is a community-based crime prevention program that provides youth, ages 6-17, with positive alternative to gangs and drugs.  Through interaction with police officers in recreational, educational, athletic and fine arts activities, young people are given the opportunity to form healthy, positive attitudes towards police, the society, and the laws they represent. 2010 Winter NAMM has wrapped up! Once again the folks at NAMM out did themselves. The SPIDER ENERGY DRINK  team and members from our supporting bands JUGULUR, NYC, XNO and the STEVE BURROWS BAND, as well as many newly signed bands were in attendance for an awesome week of rock & roll…Throughout the event, no matter where one went there was someone either wearing a SPIDER ENERGY DRINK  t-shirt or drinking/holding a can of SPIDER ENERGY DRINK, not only at the NAMM Convention, but at many of the after parties as well. By the final day we received countless thank you comments, e-mails and text from attendees telling us that it was the SPIDER ENERGY DRINK that got them through the week. While no energy drink will replace sleep, SPIDER ENERGY DRINK sure helps when in need. 

A sincere thank you to all of our supporting bands, artists and everyone that lended a hand to make this week’s event great!

Energy Drink or Rock Convention? Well we all know that the life of a musician right? Well having been one many years ago I know that the perception is party and play! While it may seem like all fun and games these guys and gals have it really tough. A touring band is always on the go, a different town every night, sometimes on a tour bus, but rarely do they get to see home. And the road crew – long before and after the show these guys and gals have the task of setting it all up and tearing it all down. While nothing replaces a good nights sleep, when you are tired and need that extra little kick or BITE we like to say, Spider energy Drink is here for you! We were able to catch up with some of our friends and also had the opportunity to meet some “legendary” rockers. Below are some pictures we took at Day#1.

Tommy Bolan will be tearing it up, playing his signature Cort Guitar at Winter NAMM in Anaheim, CA this week from Thursday, January 14 through Saturday, January 16, 2010. Of course Tommy will pounding down some Spider Energy Drink while at the show and who knows he may even be giving out some cool spider swag. Below are Tommy’s schedule of performances. Spider Energy Drink will be represented at Winter NAMM in Anaheim, CA this week from Thursday, January 14 through Sunday, January 17, 2010. We planned on having a booth of our own, but the people of NAMM said we were not allowed due to the fact that we are an energy drink and not a manufacture of musical equipment, hardware or gear. So what’s a spider to do? We will supply Spider Energy Drink to all of our endorsed artists for their drinking pleasure. It will be really interesting to see how the NAMM people react to a little gorilla marketing…We know for a fact that some other musical equipment will have other energy drink brands, as well as some teas, juices, etc. So if Spider gets the boot we will raise hell like the rock an rollers we are. All we want is to be able to support our endorsed bands and musicians. Is that too much to ask NAMM?

The SPIDER ENERGY DRINK team went to the AMA SUPERCROSS on Saturday, January 9, 2010 for a bit of gorilla marketing and some fun in the sun. It is amazing how awesome the sport of AMA SUPERCROSS is and how big it has gotten over the years. No doubt this is the core crowd for energy drink consumers and maybe someday soon we too can get a piece of the action. The BIG three energy companies seem to dominate the sport, with the title sponsor being supported by the guy’s with the green “M” logo. The really cool thing for SPIDER ENERGY DRINK in that everywhere we went throughout the event we turnd heads, and the countless number times we heard the words “SPIDER ENERGY” as we walked by people was amazing! There is no doubt that we made a statement at the event. While there we stopped by the Jagermeister party pit to check out the performers. There we had some SPIDER ENERGY DRINK for some people to sample…It was really cool to hear several people say how awesome SPIDER ENERGY DRINK tasted as they pounded one down. After we ran out we had several people ask where they could get more. For us it is really awesome to see, hear and experience the BUZZ being generated about this little thing we call SPIDER ENERGY DRINK. There is an old saying that has been around longer than any energy drink in history and it goes like this ”ALONG CAME A SPIDER” and finally here we are!

The X103.9 Very Merry XMAS Party was a blast. The music was loud and the bands rocked the HOUSE! Spider Energy Drink was the beverage drink of choice, both Backstage and in the VIP area.  After the show, the Spider Energy Drink team gave out over 1000 FREE cans to rock & roll fans as they left the concert and annual XMAS Party. Even Santa Claus was fired up and ready to go after a few cans of Spider Energy Drink. I overheard someone telling him he should have no problem making it around the world this Christmas!
